Introduction: There are eight Field Demonstrators I/C at the
block levels. They are the source from where information and contacts can
be acquired for the fish farmers. The C.D Blocks and the Demonstrators I/C
are listed in the following table-

Distribution and Demonstration Centre :

There is one fish Seed
Production and Demonstration Centre on East Khasi Hills
District, viz. Fish Dale Farm located at Fruit Garden Laitumkhrah,
Shillong. Fish seeds of common crap variety only are being bred and
produced annually from the dale and sold to private pisciculturalists @ Rs.
150/1000. These are mainly for stocking in tanks or ponds in the
districts.
